CLIENT BRIEF:
Arboricultural Impact Assessment, supervision and monitoring

STATUS:
Commenced 2015, ongoing project

Warley Training Centre is a residential development of an ex-Council training facility with a mix of significant trees and low amenity specimens across the site. Two of the trees are subject to a tree preservation order and the site is considered highly sensitive due to vested interest from the Council as an ex-Council Training Centre, and the close proximity of existing residential developments.

D F Clark Bionomique Ltd. were involved in surveying the site to provide information on the size, condition and value of trees on the site. This initial information fed into the design of the site and we were involved in advising the Landscape Architects, Civil Engineers and Architects as to the best possible layout to satisfy planning from an arboricultural perspective. We also liaised with the Local Authority Tree Officer throughout the design stage to ensure that all planning constraints were dealt with pre-submission, and gained planning approval with no further conditions relating to trees.

We are now involved in supervising facilitation pruning of the trees on-site, monitoring of tree protection, root investigations and the installation of no-dig hard surfaces.
