Landscape Architecture & Planning
This Profession forms an essential part of the planning system. The landscape is the very fabric on which we build and so is a prime consideration when proposing and building development. Preservation, enhancement and empathetic design of the landscape ensures new developments relate to their setting in a positive way. Most development applications for new buildings will not be passed by the planning authority without a hard & soft landscape design that responds to existing landscape character, existing trees and ecological features as well as planning policy, legislation, regulations and guidance.
