Middlemead Estate is a large multi-phased development in Great Bookham, Surrey. The proposal is for the demolition of 44 existing residential properties and 12 garages which are to be replaced with 79 residential properties. The site provides potential habitat for a range of fauna species including, UK protected reptiles and European protected bats.

D F Clark Bionomique Ltd are involved in identifying and completing all necessary ecological surveys and assessments be it for protected species, impact assessments on nearby designated sites or mitigation design. Necessary surveys include, nesting bird, reptile and bat. The protected species surveys are ongoing with the project due for completion in 2017. We also provide an Ecological Clerk of Work (ECoW) who is responsible for supervising elements of the project in ecologically sensitive locations, ensuring the works comply with dedicated working methodologies.

As part of the project we continue to provide ongoing ecological consultancy services for this project to deliver ecologically sound, practical mitigation and enhancement solutions.
