Land Management and Agriculture
The new emphasis on environmental welfare in the field of agriculture and land management means that a number of grant schemes and stewardship programmes are currently available, with more predicted to become available in the future.DF Clark are able to provide advice on the potential options and opportunities for your land, in order to achieve maximum gain from the help available. One of the most popular schemes is the English Woodland Grant Scheme from the Forestry Commission - specifically the Woodland Creation Grant which can provide grants for planting new woodland and also taking such land out of agricultural production.
The Entry Level Scheme is a simple, easily accessed farm environment scheme which all such landowners should take advantage of. Management does not have to focus on taking land out of production, but can be directed towards hedgerow and ditch management, low input grassland, beetle banks and soil management plans.
You may wish to create new habitat for the benefit of wildlife, to produce a timber crop, provide public recreation or to act as a financial investment. Whatever your aim, we can guide you through the application process and provide advice to maximize your chances of success. We frequently liaise with the Forestry Commission, Natural England, Wildlife Trusts and a range of local and district councils, and are well placed to provide advice and prepare a wide range of grant applications.
