D F Clark were appointed to design and build a show home garden to give potential home owners some inspiration as to how their gardens could look.
The compact space features a central lawn with a mix or herbaceous and shrub planting to the periphery, with trellises and climbing plants used to provide screening of the boundary fencing.
A sandstone patio provided an outdoor seating space and a mix of both structural and sensory planting was used to create some separation between hard and soft landscaped areas.
Overall the scheme achieved its goal of showing how a compact space can be effectively designed to create a functional garden with planting that provides seasonal interest, colour and benefits to wildlife.
